Overview

Richmond Hill's Site Plan Control By-law, By-law 38-25, passed April 9, 2025 under Section 41 of the Planning Act, designating all City lands a Site Plan Control Area and repealing By-law 76-23. It lists the development subject to site plan control: commercial, industrial and institutional, mixed-use, residential over 10 units, municipal and regional facilities, lands abutting the railway and lands within 120 metres of a shoreline, mapped on Schedules A to C. It sets a three-year approval expiry. By-law 114-25 amends it.
