Overview
The City of Richmond Hill's Development Charges Certificate, a one-page form headed with the City's development finance contact, for a planning application or building permit. It records application file information and the registered owner, then sections completed by City staff: development charges (date rates were frozen, rate schedule date, deferral for rental, institutional or non-profit housing over 6 or 21 years) and proposed construction (major occupancy, non-residential floor area, residential units by type). A demolition section determines credits. Owner, regional and municipal staff sign it.
