Overview

Division J of the City of Richmond Hill's Standards and Specifications Manual: waste management design and collection standards for new developments and redevelopments. The design standards cover collection vehicle access routes — width, turning radius, vertical clearance, pavement, supported structures — and waste storage and set-out areas for curbside, townhouse, apartment, ICI and mixed-use developments, keyed to dwelling type in Table J-1. Collection standards cover municipal collection, safety, containers and audits. Appendices hold the application form, a release, vehicle and container dimensions and a checklist.
