Overview

The City of Richmond Hill's terms of reference for an Access Study, last updated June 2025, prepared by a transportation professional to evaluate a development's access points. The investigation covers driveway spacing, queuing, design vehicles, ingress and egress manoeuvres, curb radii against the Richmond Hill Standards and Specifications Manual (9.0 m preferred for trucks), sight lines, conflicts with pedestrians and cyclists, and collision history. Drawings include access management plans and vehicle manoeuvring and sight line diagrams. It may be consolidated with the Transportation Mobility Plan or On-Site Circulation Study.
