Overview

The Energy Efficiency Design Summary for Part 9 houses using the SB-12 prescriptive method of Subsection 3.1.1., a form authorized by OHBA, OBOA and LMCBO and posted by Toronto Building beside the performance-method summary. It states its own scope: houses whose windows, sidelights, skylights and glazing in doors are not more than 22% of peripheral wall area. It records the prescriptive package and table, climatic zone, heating fuel and efficiency, ICF, combined heating and airtightness substitutions, and insulation, window and mechanical ratings, followed by a completion guide.
