The Building Code's Schedule 1 as Toronto Building publishes it, naming the individual who reviews and takes responsibility for design activities on a permit application. It records the project address, that person's own and firm contact details, and the design activities checked off against Building Code Table 3.5.2.1. of Division C — house, HVAC, building structural, plumbing, large buildings, complex buildings, fire protection and on-site sewage systems among them. The designer declaration carries individual and firm BCIN numbers, or the stated basis for an exemption from registration and qualification.

What it covers

  • A. Project Information
  • B. Contact Information
  • C. Design Activities Undertaken by Individual Identified in “Contact Information”
  • D. Designer Declaration
Check this against the municipality before you rely on it. DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
