Overview

The City of Toronto's template agreement between the owners of two adjoining properties and the City, linked from its guidance on fire department access to new garden and laneway suites. Entered into pursuant to sentence 9.10.15.2.(4) of the Ontario Building Code, it defines a limiting distance area drawn on a schedule, and carries covenants to leave that area unbuilt, level and free of stairs, fences, trees, shrubs, vehicles and bins so emergency services personnel can reach the rear of both properties. Registration, priority, release, indemnity and notice clauses follow.
