The City of Richmond Hill's Building By-law, numbered 19-24 and cited in its own text as the Building By-law, passed under section 7 of the Building Code Act, 1992. It sets out permit classes, application requirements for construction, demolition, conditional and change-of-use permits, site fencing standards, and a code of conduct for the chief building official and inspectors. Fees are set out in a companion Schedule A published separately, rather than within the by-law's own body. Its own text repeals the previous By-law 55-19 and takes effect April 1, 2024; consolidated to June 13, 2025 with amendments by By-law 57-25.
