The City of Richmond Hill's By-law 126-23, amending By-law 52-09, the city's Sign By-law. It repeals the existing election signs section and replaces it with a new section 7.14 setting out an election-sign permit, general prohibitions near voting places, location rules for public and private property, maximum sign area by zone, and a timing window tied to the writ of election. It also redefines a portable sign and narrows the mobile-sign advertising rule to the premises for which its permit was issued. Passed December 13, 2023.
