The completion inspection for the heating system, distinct from Markham's heating rough-in information sheet for the same trade at an earlier construction stage: it is normally conducted as part of the occupancy inspection and usually coincides with the plumbing final inspection. It confirms the supply and return air systems, mechanical ventilation system and furnace are complete and operational. A provincially qualified building inspector reviews general items, supply and return air systems, mechanical ventilation and heat recovery ventilators, matched by a reverse-side deficiency checklist.

What it covers

  • Supply and Return Air Systems
  • Mechanical Ventilation
  • Heat Recovery Ventilators
Check this against the municipality before you rely on it. DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
