Markham's SB-10 energy efficiency compliance checklist for Part 9 non-residential buildings — those with a fenestration-to-wall ratio of 40% or less and a skylight-to-ceiling ratio of 3% or less, heated other than by electric space heating, and occupied through the winter months — distinct from the ASHRAE 189.1 and ASHRAE 90.1 checklists Markham uses for larger buildings. It records project and designer information across up to three disciplines, then checklists compliance article by article: building envelope thermal performance, air infiltration, HVAC, ducts and piping, service water heating, interior and exterior lighting, and electric motors.
