The Town of Markham's By-law 262-94, designating all lands within the city as a site plan control area under the Planning Act, and office-consolidated to June 2009 with several amendments. It defines development subject to approval, sets exemptions such as small accessory structures and additions under a floor-area threshold, and adds tighter conditions for heritage properties and the Sabiston/Oakcrest and Victoria Square areas. Its own text repeals By-law 5-86. Read a first, second and third time on November 1, 1994, and later amended through 2009.
