The completion inspection for the plumbing trade, distinct from Markham's plumbing rough-in information sheet for the same trade at an earlier stage and from its separate plumbing drains-and-sewers sheet: it is requested once fixtures and appliances are installed and is often combined with the occupancy and heating final inspections. It confirms the drainage, venting, water distribution, fixtures and appliances operate properly and supply safe drinking water. A provincially qualified building inspector reviews materials, piping and valves, traps, cleanouts, vent pipes, fixtures and appliances, and basement rough-in plumbing.

What it covers

  • Materials and Equipment
  • Traps
  • Cleanouts
  • Slope and Length of Drainage Pipe
  • Vent Pipes
  • Piping and Valves
  • Fixtures and Appliances
  • Basement Rough-In Plumbing
