Overview

Child Care Design & Technical Guideline, a 172-page guide prepared by LGA Architectural Partners for Toronto's Children's Services, in its first revision (R1 2016). It sets out design guidance for planning, building and renovating child care space, with a design checklist and an example space planning diagram. The room-by-room part runs from entry zone to janitor room and outdoor play area; a second part covers building components such as finishes, doors, mechanical and electrical items. It supports child care projects among Toronto's design guidelines.
