Overview

Toronto's Toronto General Hospital urban design guidelines, a ten-page chapter of the City's Urban Design Guidelines series dated June 2004. They cover hospital lands at the south-east corner of University Avenue and College Street, including the heritage College Street Wing at 101 College Street. After an introduction describing the retained wing and open space, the chapter identifies development parcels A, B and C and analyzes the wing's architectural characteristics, such as symmetry, to guide compatible new buildings.
