Overview

Toronto's Midland/St. Clair Urban Design Guidelines, issued by Urban Development Services in May 2004. They were developed as part of the Phase 3 Scarborough Transportation Corridor Land Use Study for about 30 hectares between St. Clair Avenue, the CN rail line, Midland Avenue and Brimley Road. Chapters cover the role of the guidelines, visions and design principles, site organization, built form including building types, setbacks and single and semi-detached houses, streetscape and landscape, a community park, special treatment areas and implementation.
