Overview

Downtown Tall Buildings: Vision and Supplementary Design Guidelines, a 39-page City of Toronto document adopted in July 2012, consolidated with the city-wide Tall Building Design Guidelines in May 2013 and carrying housekeeping edits from January 2018. It covers the area bounded by Bathurst Street, the rail corridor north of Dupont, the Don Valley Parkway and the harbour. It gives a height vision by street, tall building typologies, seven supplementary guidelines, and maps and tables of street segments, meant to be read with the city-wide guidelines.
