Published by City of Brampton under Community Benefits Charges
The City of Brampton by-law that establishes community benefits charges against land, to pay capital costs of facilities, services and matters arising from development or redevelopment. Its recitals set it on subsection 37(2) of the Planning Act and on a Community Benefits Charge Strategy prepared under subsection 37(9) and Ontario Regulation 509/20. A definitions section fixes the terms it turns on, among them Appraisal, Building Permit and Community Benefits Charge Strategy. It sits beside Brampton's development charge by-laws rather than replacing them.
