The report Brampton's Manager of Capital and Development Finance took to City Council for the statutory public meeting on the 2019 development charges study, prepared with Hemson Consulting Ltd. and HDR. It summarises the growth forecast to 2041, the $4.47 billion growth-related capital program and the deductions taken from it, then sets the draft calculated rates beside the charges then in force — $37,881 for a single or semi-detached unit against $30,941. Eight by-law policy changes follow, from the hotel discount to demolition credit windows and cannabis facilities.
