Chapter C1, the opening section of Part C — Site Organization and Built Form — in the City of Brampton's City-Wide Urban Design Guidelines, published as its own PDF on the city's urban design guidelines page. It sets out the built form policy framework: Brampton's shift from suburban low-rise growth toward intensification, the 2040 Vision locations where intensification is directed, the towers-in-the-park apartment neighbourhoods, and a table pairing each Brampton Plan designation and overlay with the building typology and additional permissions attached to it. Guiding principles for built form follow.
