Brampton's terms of reference for a heritage building protection plan (HBPP) — the short-term plan describing how a heritage building is protected from construction on or beside the property, or while it awaits relocation. Approved by municipal council through resolution number C299-2023, it is the fast counterpart to the city's fuller heritage conservation plan. Table 1 sets the table of contents: securing guidelines, photographic documentation of every heritage attribute, protection from trespass, vandalism, water and fire, temperature and humidity control, and a monitoring schedule covering pests, mould and vibration.
