Brampton's terms of reference for a hydrogeological report — the review of subsurface geologic and groundwater conditions used to judge development suitability, foundation construction and drainage. Eight sections take the study from existing conditions and a study area map through borehole and test pit investigation, at least three monitoring wells read monthly over three months, hydraulic conductivity by pumping or slug test, laboratory water quality, short and long-term dewatering volumes, and an impact assessment spanning well users, recharge, settlement, contaminant movement, natural features and city sewage works.
