Brampton's terms of reference for a land use compatibility study — the assessment of air quality, odour, dust, noise and vibration where a new sensitive land use is proposed near existing employment areas, and of the limits that use could place on those operations. It follows the ministry's D-series guidelines and worst-case modelling, and asks for industrial uses within 1000 metres with their D-6 classifications and distances, environmental compliance approvals, emission summary tables, air dispersion and noise propagation modelling, and mitigation reaching site plan and architectural design.
