Brampton's guidelines for assessing tableland trees — those outside the natural heritage system. This is the April 2019 update carried on the city's Development Application Guidelines page. It sets three assessments by stage: a vegetation assessment report at block plan covering trees 30 cm dbh or larger, a tree evaluation report at subdivision and site plan covering trees over 15 cm dbh with a compensation planting plan, and a tree preservation plan at detailed design. Compensation ratios and a $500 per tree cash-in-lieu rate are given.
