Brampton's terms of reference for a wetland management plan (WMP) — the technical report used where development is proposed within or beside a provincially significant, unevaluated or other wetland, setting out how the wetland is protected, maintained, restored and enhanced. Eight lettered requirements run from wetland evaluation and a constraint map of boundaries and buffers, through flora, fauna, hydrology and water quality baselines, wetland health, impacts with hydrological modelling, avoidance and restoration measures, objectives split between developer and city, and monitoring at three and five years.
