Brampton's guidelines and terms of reference for a pedestrian level wind study — the visual model and written evaluation of wind conditions around a proposed tall building, prepared with RWDI for the city's urban design team. It names two study types, computational fluid dynamics and wind tunnel, and the triggers selecting between them: 25 to 50 metres in height, above 50 metres, two or more buildings over 25 metres, or three hectares beside parks and schools. Technical sections cover meteorological data, design criteria, massing scenarios and mitigation.
