The City of Brampton's terms of reference for a noise study — the analysis of transportation and stationary noise around a proposed development, and of the sound the development itself projects onto surrounding land uses. Written and sealed by a qualified professional engineer following Ontario's NPC-300 guideline, it lists the contents of the report: applicable limits with and without penalties, road, rail, vibration and air traffic noise, stationary noise on adjacent and on-site sensitive receptors, a NEF/NEP map and CadnaA contours, STAMSON calculations and high-STC window brochures.
