The City of Kitchener's Performance Securities and Plan Review Fees for Site Plan Approval, a four-page guide for proposals approved under Section 41 of the Planning Act. It describes the securities the City accepts, how securities and plan review fees are calculated from an itemized cost estimate, how securities are released, the certifications and City inspections involved, and the public agencies it does not apply to. Appendix A is a bank example of an irrevocable letter of credit. It works with the City's cost estimate spreadsheet.
