Overview

Version 2 of the City of Brampton's Accessibility Technical Standards, dated November 2015, which Brampton links from its development application page as a terms of reference although it is the standards document itself. It applies to facilities and exterior spaces the City owns, operates or leases, new or retrofitted, and is built on universal design. Interior standards run from space and reach through doors, ramps, elevators, washrooms, signage and acoustics; exterior standards cover paths of travel, recreational trails, beach access routes, outdoor eating areas, play spaces and accessible parking.
