Overview

The City of Brampton's Terms of Reference: Heritage Building Protection Plan, approved by Municipal Council on December 6, 2023 through Resolution Number C299-2023. An HBPP is the short-term plan for protecting a heritage building from construction on or beside its property, or while it awaits relocation, complementary to a heritage conservation plan. Its Table 1 sets the contents: securing guidelines, photographic documentation, implementation against trespass, vandalism, water and fire, temperature and humidity, and a monitoring schedule. Sections follow on the owner's obligations, damage or loss, and other by-laws and codes.
