Overview

The City of Brampton's Terms of Reference: Cultural Heritage Evaluation Report, approved by Municipal Council on December 6, 2023 through Resolution Number C299-2023. A CHER helps the City determine whether a property, collection of properties or landscape feature holds cultural heritage value or interest, and is prepared by members of the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals. Its nine numbered parts run from methodology and policy context through site documentation and historic research to an evaluation against O. Reg. 9/06, a conclusion and author qualifications, with a staff review checklist.
