A City of Brampton recommendation report dated 16 July 2008, Design Review for Ground Related Residential Development, linked as its architectural control compliance report. It presented city-wide architectural control guidelines for singles, semis and certain townhouses as an addendum to the Development Design Guidelines, with the process changes around them. It traces privately administered control architects since the 1980s, names the four firms then active, splits the City's compliance role into office and field functions, and carries an eight-step protocol, a dispute resolution table and a $50 per lot fee.
