Overview

Brampton's terms of reference for a stormwater management (SWM) report — the evaluation of how a development changes the quality and quantity of runoff reaching existing infrastructure and watercourses, submitted alone or folded into a functional servicing report. Five sections cover the proposed development, pre-development drainage with contours, runoff coefficients, floodplain limits and existing outlets, post-development drainage with the storm sewer system and overland flow route, quantity controls with allowable release rate and storage volume, quality controls including OGS units and infiltration, and erosion and sediment controls.
