Overview

The City of Toronto affidavit filed with a housing issues report, in which a past owner of a residential property declares the months and years of their ownership and whether the property was owner occupied or occupied by immediate family or caregivers under the Residential Tenancies Act 2006, was used for residential rental purposes, or was partly rented for certain periods. The declarant acknowledges the City relies on it in applying the residential rental property demolition and conversion control by-law, Chapter 667 of the Toronto Municipal Code.
