Overview

Mississauga's Green Development Standard guidebook for mid-rise and high-rise multi-unit residential development, five storeys and up. Prepared by Sustainability Solutions Group and revised January 2025, it explains the GDS scope and exemptions, the submission steps through the Site Plan Application process on ePlans, and the Tier 1 mandatory metrics in five themes. Energy performance is set as GHGI, TEUI and TEDI targets shown through a Design Development Stage Energy Modeling Report. The mid-rise and high-rise Developer Checklist is completed from it.
