Overview

Mississauga's city-wide terms of reference for a Land Use Compatibility Assessment Report, Version 1.0 dated March 28, 2025, from the Planning and Building Department. It applies to applications proposing sensitive uses such as housing near Employment Areas or major facilities, from Official Plan amendments to minor variances. It lists the three questions the report answers, the assessment of noise, vibration and emissions using provincial D-6 guidelines within 1000 metres, MECP approvals, complaints and employment-area viability, and mitigation at source, by buffer and at receptor.
