The two-page checklist the City of Toronto carries with a sun/shadow analysis package, stamped UD-WS-2021-001 and distinct from the pedestrian level wind study Template A that shares that stamp. It records the project, consultant and address, the number of buildings, floors and height in metres, the 3D model file format, the massing software — SketchUp, Revit or other — terrain correction and the 3D massing context tile from Open Data, the coordinates and solar north, the shadow diagram scale, colour and dates, and the consultant's declaration.

What it covers

  • 1. General
  • 2. Project Description
  • 3. Massing Information
  • 4. Massing Model Location
  • 5. Shadow Diagrams Information
  • 6. General Comments
  • Declaration of Consultant
Check this against the municipality before you rely on it. DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
