Chapter 658 of the Toronto Municipal Code, the City of Toronto's ravine and natural feature protection chapter, adopted by By-law 838-2002 and retitled from ravine protection in 2008. Fourteen sections cover the activities the chapter reaches — injuring or destroying trees, placing or dumping fill or refuse, altering grade — with the exceptions, the form and content of an application to Urban Forestry, the issuance of permits and their conditions, council approval, appeals, enforcement and power of entry, orders to comply, restoration of a site, offences and remedial action. Schedules A-1 and A-2 carry the index and data maps.
