The report behind the Toronto Green Standard's absolute energy targets, prepared for the City Planning Division and dated March 2017. It sets out a four-tier pathway to near-zero emissions construction by 2030 for Toronto's five most common building archetypes — high-rise and low-rise multi-unit residential, commercial office, retail and mixed use — measured on total energy use intensity, thermal energy demand intensity and greenhouse gas intensity, and adds prescriptive items for renewable energy, district energy, air tightness testing, commissioning, submetering and benchmarking, with modelling and costing appendices.
