It deletes the definition of second unit and the old subsection 4.1.20, adds definitions for attached ARU, detached ARU and floor area - detached ARU, and rewrites subsection 4.1.1 with tables covering the zones, floor area, height, setback, driveway and lot coverage provisions for two attached units, or one attached and one detached unit, on a lot. Appendix A explains its purpose and effect.

What it covers

  • Additional Residential Unit (ARU)
  • Explanation of the Purpose and Effect of the By-law
  • Location of Lands Affected
