City of Mississauga Zoning By-law 225-2007

A one-page zoning information sheet the City of Mississauga publishes on its zoning for swimming pools page. It prints Zoning By-law 225-2007's definition of a swimming pool — a body of water contained wholly or partly by artificial means that can hold water exceeding 0.61 m in vertical depth, including a hot tub — then subsection 4.1.4: the 1.5 m setback measured from the inside wall of an outdoor pool to all lot lines, the 3.0 m version for other residential forms, the greenbelt setback table, and the 0.61 m clearance for pool heating and filtering equipment.

What it covers

  • Residential General Provisions
  • Swimming pools & equipment
  • Defintiions
  • Table 4.1.8.1 - Minimum Setbacks to Greenbelt Zones
  • Regulations (from 4.1.4 Swimming Pools)
Check this against the municipality before you rely on it. DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
