One of the City of Mississauga's design reference notes, covering the location, size and screening of outdoor waste management areas reviewed through the site plan application process, read with the Region of Peel waste collection design standards manual. It distinguishes the permanent gated enclosure holding all designated waste streams from the staging area used only on the scheduled collection day, then lists the general design and zoning items: a 10.0 m setback to a street property line in an apartment zone, a 6.0 m setback to a residential zone, a 3.0 m landscape buffer and 2.0 m solid enclosure walls.

What it covers

  • Design Reference Notes
  • Outdoor Waste Management
  • Temporary Staging Area
Check this against the municipality before you rely on it. DocHub collects what a municipality published; it cannot tell you what is in force today. A newer version may exist, may be titled differently, or may not be posted publicly at all.
