Overview

The City of Hamilton's Complete Street Audit Tool, a spreadsheet, version 1.1, for reviewing a street against the Complete Streets Design Guidelines. A user enters the street's name, functional classification, right-of-way width, traffic volume and context, picks one of eight street typologies from urban avenue to rural settlement road, then scores current and proposed conditions from 1 to 5 for the pedestrian realm, cycling, transit, through movement, on-street parking and green infrastructure. The results show which elements exceed or fail to meet the typology's priorities.
