Overview

The City of Hamilton's guide of July 2025 to the public notice sign posted for official plan amendment, zoning by-law amendment, draft plan of subdivision and vacant land condominium applications under the Planning Act. It describes the applicant's responsibilities and the sign's specifications: a 1.2 by 2.4 metre full-colour board, wording prepared by the assigned Planner, and a three-dimensional massing image or a location map. It then gives the number, location and installation of signs, the declaration confirming installation, and removal after a decision.
