Overview

Hamilton's Development Application Guidelines sheet for a Construction Management Plan (CMP), a technical plan and report on how construction, demolition and excavation for a development will be managed, which the sheet places at Site Plan Approval rather than with a complete Planning Act application. It lists the CMP items, from CCTV of municipal sewers and noise and vibration studies to traffic management, encroachment management and shoring plans, and points to the City's Construction Management Plan Guidelines (2022). The current edition is dated February 18, 2026; the earlier, October 2022.
