Overview

Hamilton's Development Application Guidelines for a Materials Palette or Imagery, used at the Site Plan Approval stage with coloured elevation drawings so Urban Design staff can evaluate façade materials by colour, texture and application, in a February 19, 2026 edition and an October 2022 edition issued as Appendix "B19" to Report PED22112(d). It describes a photocollage or physical sample board with captions giving each material's label, manufacturer, colour and pattern, or a palette integrated with the Material Legend on elevation drawings, and the design professionals who prepare it.
