Overview

A stormwater policy for industrial, commercial and institutional land uses in Hamilton, submitted to the City by AMEC Environment & Infrastructure in April 2013 and marked Draft Final on its cover. Building on the City's Storm Drainage Policy (May 2004), it identifies preferred source control practices, from rooftop and parking lot storage and green roofs to permeable pavement, infiltration trenches, grassed swales and biofilters, with design criteria, the planning process for public and private sites, cost estimates, development charge credits and engineering submissions at the planning and detailed design stages.
