Overview

Hamilton's Development Application Guidelines for a Transportation Assessment, the study of a proposed development's traffic impacts on municipal roads, which both Official Plans call a Transportation Impact Study, the name the City's page links it by, in a February 20, 2026 edition and an October 2022 edition issued as Appendix "B36" to Report PED22112(d). It describes a short Trip Generation Letter/Memo and the full assessment, from site trip generation, horizon years and levels of service to multi-modal level of service (MMLOS), and points to the City's Transportation Assessment Guidelines.
