Overview

Hamilton's Development Application Guidelines for taking a proposal to the City's Design Review Panel, last updated February 19, 2026. It describes the two parts of the process: a Submission Package of a Design Brief and Supporting Documents before the meeting, and afterwards the Summary of Advice written by City staff with the applicant's written response. It lists the Design Priority Areas, the contextual analysis within a 100 m radius, and the plans, streetscape sections and 3D renderings in the package, and links to the City's Urban Design Report guidance.
