Overview

The Dundas Downtown Urban Design Study, prepared for the City of Hamilton's Planning & Development Department, Downtown Renewal Division, by Sinisa (Sonny) Tomic Urban Design Consulting, and listed by the City as the Dundas Downtown Urban Design Guidelines. Shaped by a September 2001 idea charrette and a February 2002 open house, it sets five place-making principles and a vision for King and Hatt Streets precinct by precinct, with streetscape, Urban Braille, street furniture, parking, built form, infill, heritage, storefront and signage guidelines and the Spencer Creek promenade.
